    Main Building, Refurbished Guest Rooms
The completely refurbished guest rooms in the main building incorporate all the design elements of the Mirror Interior concept for the hotel: wire-brushed, whitewashed wood panelling, wrought-iron and cast-bronze lighting fixtures, and geometrically patterned wool and linen textiles. The majority of the furnishings and home accessories were specially designed for these rooms and supplied by Austrian craftsmen.
In line with the organic theme of the design, the chosen color scheme is sand or another natural tone, depending on the type of room, with red and green accents. Each room is decorated with a large wall hanging with floral motifs embroidered in naturally dyed silk yarn. The contemporary interpretation of rustic alpine décor includes, in homage to the traditional country wardrobe, clean-lined furniture in highly structured oak with red-stained interiors. The carved medallion ornament on the nightstands was inspired by butter molds. Sgraffito motifs appear in the hallway wall stencils, on the rugs, and as a decorative collage on the wastebaskets. In the bathrooms, structured surfaces, the broken-edge finish of the stone countertops, and brass appliqués continue the rustic note. The lighting completes the effect.
